Terms of Service

To use BuildCast you must create an account by authenticating via a supported OAuth provider (e.g. GitHub). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.

BuildCast connects to your GitHub repositories via webhooks and the GitHub API. When you connect a repository, we receive event data including commit messages, pull request titles and descriptions, issue metadata, and release information.

We access only the repositories you explicitly authorise. We do not read, store, or transmit your source code beyond what is necessary to generate content (e.g. commit diffs for context).

BuildCast supports connections to up to 13 social media platforms including Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Bluesky, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, Pinterest, Mastodon, Tumblr, and Discord.

By connecting a social account, you authorise BuildCast to publish content on your behalf. You remain fully responsible for all content posted to your social accounts through the service, whether generated by AI or manually composed.

You may disconnect any social account at any time from your dashboard, which will immediately revoke our ability to post on that platform.

BuildCast uses third-party AI providers (Groq, Google Gemini, and Anthropic) to generate social media captions and content based on your GitHub activity. AI-generated content is provided as a draft for your review.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, or fitness of AI-generated content for any purpose. You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving all content before publication. BuildCast is not liable for any consequences arising from the publication of AI-generated content.

Images, media, and other assets associated with your content are stored on Cloudflare R2. We retain these assets for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may delete assets from your dashboard at any time.

You represent that you own or have the right to use all assets you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and distribute these assets solely for the purpose of operating the service.

You agree not to use BuildCast to:

• Publish spam, misleading, or deceptive content
• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right
• Distribute malware, phishing links, or harmful content
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure
• Use the service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it
• Circumvent usage limits or rate limits

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

BuildCast offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are issued at our sole discretion.

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, we will remove your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Reasons for termination include, but are not limited to, violation of these Terms, abusive behaviour, or extended inactivity.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Relva LTD and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or GBP 100, whichever is greater.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
